"Enjoy Sitting is a chair that has been designed to enable people to feel comfortable and relax when sitting on it by Ryan Jongwoo Choi.

"I got inspired from pine trees to represent the product above. Because I thought the irregular figures of pine trees provides freedom of behavior more than that of modern products when they are adjusted to chairs. I used growth ring as motif to have one feel nature within modern sense for I got inspired from irregular pine trees. I installed a prop to support and fix the product. This product is designed to help to satisfy basic instinct of human beings focusing on functional aspect rather than on pleasure coming from shapes"

"Sneakercube is a personal design project by graphic artist, Pawel Nolbert.

“Simply, I take a sneaker that I love & I re-envision it as a cube. It’s also a creative way to represent my wish list of sneakers, though I own some of those.”

Each sneaker is shown along with the original one.
All original sneakers & photos belong to their respective authors. No parts of the original photos were sampled to create cube versions."

"This is a clever and well designed project by the Italian designer Anna Utopia Giordano. Unfortunately these bottles are NOT for sale, they are part of an art exhibition. This ongoing project aims to raise social awareness on topics such as alcohol abuse by teens, alcohol abuse by pregnant women, and the disinterest of some parents towards their children.

It’s sad to see how far marketers can go to gain the attention of their younger customers. Always remember, please, the minimum age for drinking alcohol in your country (if you do not know, see this table) and drink responsibly. We would love to hear your take on this, so please comment below!

Note: There are no commercial purposes."

"The creations of Bridget West, these Care Label cushions are an interesting take on repurposed materials. She creates these unique cushions by stitching together hundreds of fabric care labels. Taking hardly-noticed mundane elements and bringing them together is something we like to talk about. This is another terrific example.

She also makes a cushion from clothing brand tags, which has a totally different look but is based on the same concept. Her collection includes furniture, artwork, accessories and more."

"With unseasonably hot temperatures in various parts of the country, what better way to beat the heat than with some delicious ice cream? Some people don't just eat their ice cream though. They get a little more creative and actually make edible ice cream sculptures.

Do they taste any more delicious than regular scoops of ice cream? They sure look like they do. Don't forget to vote on the most amazing ice cream sculpture!"

"On March 11, 2012, thousands of protesters descended upon the National Diet building in Tokyo. They formed a human chain around it, calling on Japan’s government to abandon atomic energy on the anniversary of the tsunami that sparked the Fukushima atomic disaster. Matsumoto handed out hundreds of his middle finger candles, which the protestors happily accepted."

"This coffee table is a 12:1 scaled replica of a cassette tape. It is made of reclaimed maple, walnut and lucite. Dimensions are 47.25" x 30" x 5" with a 3/8" plexi top. This is a first prototype and one of a kind table. Future versions will be CNC machined out of high grade plywood with a variety of ply combinations and a glass top. This table has been an obsession of mine for 5 years! It is amazing to finally have it come to fruition. The table is completely reversible (sides A and B)."

"Not every piece of tech you own has to look cold and inorganic. The Wood Station combines natural form with advanced technology seamlessly. Seemingly just a block of wood at first, the Wood Station revels its true form when you run your hand over the motion sensor. It lights up and displays the time, date and the weather forcast. The back of the Wood Station lets you set the alarm clock and hit the snooze. $147"

"Whenever we read a news story, book, letter, or any other form of text our brain relates specific words with previously seen images. By accessing our past memories, like a hard drive, our brain is able to create a visual illustration simply out of words. Taking this one step further, Ji Lee eliminates the need for our brain to do this process. Ji Lee takes popular words and brings them to life by adding a sense of character, fun and playfulness to them."
